Why?
We need to set a strategy in motion and just roll with it. In with the young--out with the old
In Fields starting 3 out Gallo to mobile 4(hey Gallo read KD statements today when he said he doesnt go out the night before a game---live it.
In Rautins--deserves a chance with a good showing but must continue out Mason went downhill in SA and looks even worse right now Duhon from the SG.
In faster pace out clogging the offensive lane
In Amare @ C out shtty non skilled player @ 5
The watch is on Felton and Douglas---let the best man start.
If you want Amare to survive the remainder of his contract, he should never play center.
Power Forward is his position and where he is strongest at. That, in turn, helps the team.
You are too quick to make judgments. You do this all the time and flip flop on players basied on pure emotion and nothing else.
This is preseason. Guys are still getting situated with the team and getting used to their teammates. No to mention this is all going on in a foreign country. This isn't the right way to judge a team.
A lot of guys stink in preseason and then light it up during the regular season. Preseason is to work out the kinks and develop some chemistry. They're not competitive games. It's just practice between 2 teams. Players don't go 100% and coaches don't go 100%. Preseason is for fine-tuning, chemistry, regaining/establishing stamina, practicing plays and evaluating your talent/young talent. You don't go overboard for good things or bad things.
If you want to evaluate at the preseason, okay. But they still have 6 more practice games to go. Let's see if they develop some chemistry and become more cohesive in the coming games. It was reported D'Antoni chose to have 8 preseason games for this reason. This isn't NBA 2k. The team isn't going to go out there and light it up from the start. There is an adjustment process.
Starting Fields at SF with Gallinari at PF is just you not understanding that patience is virtue. How the hell is Fields going to start? What has he proven? He did a few nice things against the Wolves garbage but that doesn't mean he is an NBA starter yet. Same for Rautins. Gallinari is not ready for PF yet and Amare is NOT an NBA center. Simply not and I don't care what record D'Antoni had in Phoenix. Amare is best suied at PF for his own benefit and the franchises' benefit. And because Roger Mason can't hit the side of a barn with his shot right now does not mean he wont start hitting treys when the season starts. I believe he will pick it up.
These players should be given a chance to start the season and show what they can do. 10-15 games I say. If those guys are still playing bad then your criticism is valid. Right now it is not.
It is WAY too early to be hitting the panic button.
