If I was Minnesota--I would take the cold shoulder from Rubio and sell him for what amounts to a great deal of hype right now. The best player on that team is former Knick Pete Mickael--cant believe the Lakers tried so hard to push that game--Odom played 42 minutes. If Kobe's leg is messed up before the season starts and Bynum is falling apart--I dont see the 3 peat

I still can't believe Mickeal didn't make it on the Knicks. He was all conference and conference defenisve player of the year during his time in Cincy. I thought he was a great pick at the time.

I have not cued the game off my DVR yet, but Rubio's line was 0-5 and only 3 assets.

Not a good line but THEY BEAT THE LAKES. I know Kobe mailed it in, but its still the lakes.

How did Rubio look? He lead his team to victory and these Euro points are not stat whores so its not the line I care about but how did the kid look to those who watched the game?

I saw the second half and despite being a big Rubio fan I have to say he didnt look to good out there! His shot was completely off, he sometimes overdribbled and didnt really have a huge impact on the game! The two players standing out on his team are Navarro and Mikael!!! Navarro really is a stud!!!
You could see three things on Rubio though (nothing new... just another time he proved it) his ballhandling is superb as is his defence and he does push the ball in the open court just great!!!
The biggest knock on him really is his shot!!! Hell not have a problem to D up in the NBA and hed be good running with our guys but he will in the next years not be a scoring threat from anything other than transition lay ups...
This said... id still love him on the Knicks!!!

Remember he was being interviewed after a workout he had with Gremlin and I believe BedsTyLawson in Sacramento after being asked if he was better than him....He laughed like uhhh that Harry Potter ICKY RICKY looking kid is not that good.

Lost really ...... But so did Kobe.... Hope all this dropped his value and we get him cheap!!

I like the kid a lot, but am surprised that he has not developed his shot up to this point.
