Well if we wanted a guy with size in that 69-280 area who can play--we can get him for a mere 400k

kind of redundant to have 5 sf and we need rebounding and this kid can rebound.

Come on man. He's probably not that good if he's gone already. We'll see what happens but I don't see Mike or Donnie wanting a heavy lumbering guy in the mix. YES we will have problems rebounding but Tiny doesn't seem like the answer.

Being 280 doesn't mean you can rebound. Just ask Eddy Curry.

Its pretty simple--we dont need S Williams and PERJR--we haev rebounding problems--heck even if he plays half the year in the D league--hes a better investment. 400k Im talking

I think he had double digit rebounds 13-14 times and avg 8 in 24 minutes as a freshmen @ Oklahoma

I posted about our possible rebounding troubles 3 months ago--stats do not lie. 62-35 is a wake up call. PERJR and S Williams OUT Earl Barron and Gallon in. We need reinforcements--we can start Gallon in the D league for 10 games after preseason.

He's can board, which is certainly a team need, but I read that he's awful defensively.

He would be a nice pickup. He is a project but when you are talking 400K the guy is low risk and high reward. The Bucks just didnt have enought space and had too much front court depth.

I think AR and Chandler are going to have to be our rebounders unfortunately.

Is there a player out there that fits our fast paced profile who also can rebound, defend and shoot?

Most of those guys are already on the Suns. Big Baby would be good here.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I like Gallon. He looked good in the summer league and he is quite a presence with his size. He is a guy that would benefit from practicing with and playing with Amare. Granderson just got a hit, Yanks are tied, and Liriano is out. I can't concentrate on b-ball.

Yup.

Give him some contract incentives to lose weight, and let him play in the DL. I'd give him a look.

It doesnt matter--whether it sthis year half the year or the future--we have a real problem with rebounding the basketball and developing a player like Gallon for the long term makes sense. hes got great hands and is very skilled for a big guy. He needs to lose 30 but he's 19. I think a team could have a real nice player on their hands.
