So who is our center?

So i have to find out, who is our best option at center at this point? We know Turiaf is currently the starting center but is only a backup and not our long term solution. Randolph has all the tools, but can be defend at that level or is he more of a lamar odom 6th man? Finally, what is Mozgov's true upside? At 24, he should be nba ready to contribute at a high level if he is ever going to.

I start Rony, then Moz then move Amare over.

We need time for Timo to adjust to the NBA, learn some English and get thru a few teams in the league. At some point I expect him to start next to Amare. His ability to hit the midrange jumper makes him perfect to play alongside Amar'e. That keeps the floor spaced but we still get the benefit of a true C.

Are people really so certain D'antoni will start a Rookie at C?

I am 95% confident that, at least to begin the season, Turiaf is our starter.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Coach has already said it will change week to week....

I see Mozgov as starter but probably later in the year.

Turiaf is like Jeffries with Blocks so I see him starting the season as our starting Center.

Randolph just makes too much sense as sixth man.... He can come in for anyone from Chandler to the center position!

The Moz has us full of great hope.

But reality is his cap is only 15min on the floor.

This is the NBA folks and he is a rookie.

He has been a big suprise, is athletic, has many tools, and is long but he still has a lot ot learn.

Same with AR, before he is KG he has to shake his Starks/Nate bone head decisions and perhaps let the game come to him.

Great athletes can force it which is what AR does as will The Moz.

Time, experience will all happen. Just not in 20 games.

To me, it would be massive if we were .500 at mid season.

Expectations and hype is all nice, but there is a pain curve out there that we have to get thru.

It would have benn nice if Eddy could have given us even 7 min a game.
