I was actually thinking we're not that good if we 'barely' were able to beat a team that is probably talent wise, somewhere between an NBDL team and NBA team. I mean, it was close for much of the contest.

And we've tried the outscoring opponents approach before, and that worked on occasion when some guys get hot and light it out from outside.

That game wasnt really close. We flubbed around with the ball a bit because of cohesion and we stagnated after leads twice. The 2nd unit extended the game to 24 in the 4th--thats not very close. And its more the feeling that I get. We have a very good starting teams with two potentials stars and possibly an all star level player or close to it in Chandler. Then we come in with speed and size that most teams CANNOT match up with.

I think Mosgov could be starter material soon. Maybe after 10-15 games or so--we can jettison in him in there--heck I would do it now:) Hes better than turriaf for sure. I don't like that stale mentality that he cant play becasue he has no NBA experience--he can play for sure. well see--no mater what we still need another legit big for the future--doesn't have to mean we have to spend 12mm on gasol.

Yeah, sorry, I'm high on these Knicks, but that team isn't going to compete with the Heat or Lakers, let alone the 2nd tier of title contenders. Gallo needs to show he can be a go-to wing scorer in crunch time, and Felton is a suitable PG for now, but we could definitely use an upgrade. Swap Felton with a Chris Paul or Deron Williams, and then I can see a title contender:
