I read a few posts on this board that either criticized Raymond Felton or said we need to address our PG situation. I don't know if it's just me, but I thought he played a real good game. Why are people so quick to dismiss him? He doesn't have to be an all star yet he's still going to be real good for us. Not everybody is going to be Steve Nash.

I won't judge him now, but he needs to look for his offense more..

Felton's better than he played today. This wasn't his A game.

Yeah, he's still feeling his away around the offense. He's a smart player and he'll eventually figure it out. That said, I could see upgrading this position down the road. But I wouldn't stress it so much now. It's not like were just a few players away from the title and Felton is good enough to get us to where we need to go this season.

I thought he played solid. I mean, what I saw was a legit playmaker, which we haven't had in a LOOOOOONG time from the PG position. He got a lot of people open shots that if they converted, he would've had 10-12 assists. But most importantly, he got everyone involved -- fed Turiaf for easy layups, kicked out to Gallo for several open 3's. I'm glad to have a PG who doesn't just tunnel vision.

The only concern is his suspect handle really, cause I think his court vision is definitely there.

He looked like the same guy who played in Charlotte to me. He played solid and defended well. At least we wont have guards CONSTANTLY in the paint anymore.

I have mentioned the need to address PG position

I have watched Felton play live on many occasions with Bobcats

I live in Greenville SC and been to plenty of Charlotte games and def dont dislike Felton.
Just still am not sold on him as far as an elite PG for this team.

Now I understand its just one game but a telling game for Felton and his inability's .
He has many skills but the one thing he doesnt have (that Nash had) is offensive instincts.

He had 8 assists but Dudu avg that first year in this offense so def not impressive not to mention
we scored 123 points and Felton as our PG only had his hands in 24 ..... scoring 8 and having 8 dimes

Not a very good percentage of our offense if you ask me......

Can't see how trading for Rubio would hurt us...... Bring him in as back up PG and if he outplays Felton
give him major minutes if not just groom him... Rubio is a natural distributor of the ball and i believe
would be ideal fit for this team..... And again think Mayo would be a huge upgrade as well

KNICKS on the way UP!!!

Same here. I used to get a 11 game mini plan but the drive north (about the same as you) got old. Now I go to fewer games but with better seats.

Felton in Larry's offense vs the MDA speed ball will give him a different look. After one game you saw just a glimpse of what could be just a few times.

This thing is far from clicking on any cylinders yet!

Have a cousin who works for Bank of America so got hook ups with tickets...

We go to see the Stars .... Kobe Wade Lebron Garnett Allen Pierce and Knicks of course!!
Felton is not a scrub by any means..... And can see him as upgrade over DUDU for sure.

But if he tweeks an ankle? We are ****ed!! We can handle Amare going down more then Felton.
Getting say Rubio we would be in a better and safer situation....

Rubio would bring best out of Felton and vice versa...... And we have depth were we need it!!

sloppy 1st half but, very efficient 2nd.
The real story is the TANDEM. That how I will think of them...the tandem of Felton and Douglas on the floor is going to be deadly. The both get after it on defense but douglas....the guys like a bulldog on defense. Loved seeing them out there together
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I thought he played like it was preseason. Sloppy handle, missed some bunnies betc. I did however like the way he ran the offense. He got into the paint at will and made a few nice dishes off the penetration. Not sold on his ability to play the pick and roll but its early and chemistry will need to be built. In summary, I wasn't overly impressed but I foumd no reason to worry at this point
I just hope that people will like me

I was impressed on how he pressured the ball from baseline to baseline. Clyde and Breen made a good point that the other team only had 7-8 seconds left in the shot clock when they started their offense.

I also love that he likes to push the ball up. This is what SSOL is about. Getting easy looks at the basket.

He just needs to find his legs a bit. He seemed wobbly, off balance at times..probably not in the best game shaope yet. This guy is still about 30 percentile points higher than Don'thoff and this coming from Duke fan.

Remember several games he played in college..haven't seen him play pro but got to believe there's more than we saw last game. Well with the exception of last years playoffs. Milan's PG was better than given credit for here...dude was good just a tad short for the NBA. That team had a lot more time together than the Knicks.
