The Hornets have traded Darius Songalia and Craig Brackins to Philadelphia for Willie Green and Jason Smith, according to sources.

Rod Thorn targeted Brackins late in the first round when he was general manager of the Nets.

That new GM of the Hornets stinks! I don't like either of his moves, though I suppose this one doesn't hurt them as much as the poor return they got back for Collinson. Rod Thorn is a suprisingly bad drafter though, so maybe Brackins will turn out to be a bust.

Trade is good for the Hornets considering they are trying to appease Chris Paul ASAP.

NBA gm's what a business. I thought both trades were counter productive to the hornets trade going foward. Paul is going there haven't made there roster the least bit stronger.

ever think that maybe....they never called Walsh since they likely weren't looking for anyone else to get involved :) or, should I treat it like green font

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

That trade makes zero sense for the Hornets. Smith averaged 3/2 last year. Brackins isn't more valuable than that as a bench scorer?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Willie Green was the best player in that trade.

That don't matter!

Every trade in the NBA is relevent to the knicks. Walsh is naroleptic and disinterested which makes him dangerous. Isiah was always looking to make teams better.

Problem was it was not our teams.

and.....

Sarcasim reigns.

Can't you get a player like Green anywhere? Brackins is pretty unique. Maybe they weren't impressed with him, but you'd think you could get more than that in return.

Chris Paul is a free agent in 2 yrs. New Orleans really doesnt have the luxury of waiting around for a guy to develop. The teams just shuffled role players.

Willie Green was going to have limited minutes anyway, with Lou Williams, Jrue Holiday, and Evan Turner likely getting major minutes.
