Why hasn't Eddie Curry showed up? This is his last contract year. His last chance to play into a contract for next year. When we thought LBJ was coming to the Knicks, we were all for Curry working out and talking with James. Let's see the treachery out to it's conclusion. EC is looking for a buyout. he'll then sign the veterans' minimum contract with the Heat. I think this has been in the works for some time. Stay tuned...

He can hope for that but truth is, we have absolutely no incentive to buy him out before the trade deadline. I don't see Donnie going out of his way to help Eddy out when the guy has given us nothing in the past few years.

That theory holds a lot of water. If Lebron said they would take care of Curry after this year with a longer term deal. Sign for a vet min deal in 2010/11, and then I'll push management to lock you up for 5 at whatever number he can be signed for (MLE?).

If we buy him out we can't use his contract for a trade. Eddy still has to play and stay healthy. I don't think he wants or can take a pay cut.

I don't really think a championship is a priority for him. His loser mentality I doubt is welcome on a Pat Riley team.

Looks like Lebron is an idiot so it is possible that he wants Eddy in Miamy.

They might have told Eddy through back channels not to bother. Or he is just embarrassed(for once) to show up after hearing about how some players are working together and everyone is trying to get into the best shape possible.

If Lebron said that, then this would officially be his worse idea since the "Decision." Anyone putting their hope in Curry being able to play is delusional.
