for better or for worse--the Knicks are married to the guy--they might be separated but not divorced and I think he's either got major say or even running things in the back imho.

Are you seriously worried about Zeke at this point? We're literally months away from ridding ourselves of his last huge mistake. We're loaded with young talent and there's no negative drama facing the club at the moment. I don't consider the Melo drama (pun intended) to be a bad thing at this point. The players seem to be focused and ignoring the whole thing. Curry so far is a no show, tho I expect there will be some drama when he finally does show up. overall tho I don't see any negative impact from Zeke whether he's back there doing stuff or not.

Why do you say that the popcorn man is still working behind the scenes? All the moves mad are very un-Zeke and has the godfather's prints all over it.

The outgoing Jeffries trade was the last one that sounded like a Zeke deal.

Zeke wasn't capable of doing deals like Felton's or Mozgov's.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I agree. One of the troubling things is that it isn't just Berman dragging his name up anymore.

I think Briggy is frustrated about criticism for creating new Melo-drama threads
So he is taking revenge.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

OK, My conspiracy theory is that Curry is hoping to be even more of a lame duck douche that he gets even Walsh to untwist his wallet and buy the f---er out so that Curry can go play for the Miami Wades
You know I gonna spin wit it

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Let-s-just-ignore-Isiah-Thomas-from-now-on-OK-;_ylt=Ainv2KNPhqmAfMhF8QYNi0G8vLYF?urn=nba-271244

Just over a month ago, the New York Knicks made the laughable move of bringing back former disaster Isiah Thomas. Ostensibly, the thinking was that Thomas was well-connected and well-respected in NBA circles which meant he'd be a valuable asset in free agent recruitment and relating to players. Fortunately for Knick fans, the NBA nixed the deal because having an NCAA head coach on an NBA team's payroll is Bad Idea Jeans.

As you can imagine, the Knicks aren't missing out on much. Here's what Isiah told the Chicago Tribune's Fred Mitchell in an article published yesterday:

"I think it will come down to Chicago and New York, whoever can put together the better package," Thomas told the Tribune on Monday. "I would say that a month ago he wasn't as open to Chicago as he is now. I think he has given New York enough time to put something together. But I think it will come down to those two cities."

Fine — Isiah Thomas, Mr. Well-Connected, would know which team Carmelo Anthony(notes) prefers to be traded to. And he's just so in-the-loop that he surely has the inside information. That's why the Knicks wanted him back, after all.

Except, you know, he's pretty much just making stuff up at this point. Check out this action from the New York Times' Jonathan Abrams and Howard Beck:

In preliminary conversations, the Nuggets have told the Knicks that they do not possess the assets they are seeking if they decide to trade Anthony, according to a Knicks official. The official did not want to be identified because he was describing private conversations between the teams.

OK, that's OK. Just because the Knicks are out of the running doesn't mean Isiah is totally wrong. He said that it was between New York and Chicago, so that means the Bulls are still an option. There's still a chance he's not just babbling away.

Well, actually, nope.

The same executive said the Chicago Bulls had dropped out of the running for Anthony because they refused to include center Joakim Noah(notes) in a proposal.

Awww, fiddlesticks. Isiah Thomas is all mixed up, yet again. It is almost like he has no idea what he's talking about and just keeps saying that every player is going to come to play for the Knicks even if there's no way that will happen. No wonder they want to pay him tons of money — he's great advertising.

Why does the media continue to ask a college coach about what NBA players are doing..

nah, the media just loves to stick a mic in his face and run with whatever he says. These guys need, NEED to sell papers. Consider the economy and how the internet is killing the print industry, you can expect these type of things....in fact, expect it to get worse!!!!!!!!!!

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
