We almost have zero reason to showcase Eddy now that he is an ending contract. He is what he is.
We *might* try to up his value some, by playing him here and there in blowouts... but he doesn't belong in the "rotation".

Mozgov should get a crack at backup C. Eddy has given us nothing the last couple years and we're under no obligation to give him time so he can :earn: a contract next year.

And even if this season Coach D'antoni mar-buries Eddy on the bench I wouldn't mind. Screw him.

Amare will see about 20mpg at Center.
Turiaf will see about 10-15mpg at Center.

Mozgov should get the other 10-15mpg.

Totally agree. Walsh and the coaching staff will continue to say the right things but I think the team has moved on..I know I have. I don't see Eddy Curry as a part of what this team will be looking to do.

Eddy has a trade kicker as well, so showcasing him would be a tough hill to climb.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

anyone that thinks Eddy is playing for the Knicks next year hasnt followed the team.. even a little.

The Knicks have moved on he's nothing more than a contract. If he shows up weighing 285 in game shape and learned out rebound and run in the offseason he will play. But we all know what will happen. He will be 325 (which is great, because he will have lost like 20 pounds in the offseason) then he will injure a calf, hammy or something else, not be a part of training camp and preseason, and... well, just look up last couple of years. You get the idea

Eddy Curry is FINISHED. Even though I dont think Amare wants to play center him and Turiaf will be sharing time there.

The big question is not whether he will compete for time with Mosguv, but whether the Knicks will even have him in a uniform sitting on the bench?

Best case scenario is that Eddy plays great and we can use him, Chandler and a pick to get Melo. Denver knows Melo is going to walk. They can wait it out but it seems that the best package won't get Melo. I mean who can offer anything and not gut their team?

If you were a GM, would you want to give him a new contract? He might play well this season but once he has his money, if history is any judge its off to BK.

Curry shouldn't be allowed in the building.

Curry should be forced to sweep the floors and sell popcorn. Useless.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Trade kicker are usually on blacne of contract.

Would be like 500k at beginning of season and counting down from there.

Dude would love it, more money!!!!!

This guy has got to get on the court and show he can be an NBA player, otherwise he is done for sure.

Dude is like broke.

Eddy can make history in China with AI and ChinaBury.

Maybe start a hamburger franchise. The "EddyBurger"! No beef and all filler.

I should get in there before Eddy. I'm only 6'2", but at least I won't break any floorboards or use up two sideline chairs.

Curry should be behind Mozgov. Not on the lunch line. No one should be in front of Curry just ask his driver.

I think this quote from the article is very accurate.

The obstacle for both players will be head coach Mike D’Antoni. Even if Curry is in shape there still is a chance that Mike D'Antoni will not play him. We all know Mike D’Antoni has a reputation for not caring for postup players. And this is exactly what Curry is.

In Timofey Mozgov's case there will be questions if he will get playing time because he is a rookie. Last season rookies Toney Douglas and Jordan Hill were glued to the bench by Mike D'Antoni. So you have to wonder what will happen to Mozgov.
