wow, i hope philly don't miss the play-offs. i wan't to see philly play us at some point in the playoffs. kieth and mutombo<--former sixers(even if it doesn't mean much), i want to see AI battle it out with steph. that has a chance of being a very good battle.

i think we can go as high as #2 seed... we can pass the nets in the rankings if we go on a HUGE win streak, and they lose a bit.

Seriously... they are 21-17. we are 19-24.

NYK's can do it.

ok, how does that saying go, ah yes - KNOW WHEN TO SAY WHEN.

we could hope to finish as the 5th seed, maybe the 4th seed AT BEST. indiana, nj, and detroit are A LOT better than us right now. plus, they would have the home court. we're playing well, but let's see how it goes the 2nd half of the year. we could go on a major run, and i think we will, but there's no way we're going to make up 10-15 games on the big 3 of the eastern conference. our best hope is to catch new orleans and that's it. i think toronto is going to fall off and milwaukee will dip. boston is a NON FACTOR. philly would probably make it just b/c of iverson. if we want to make the 2nd round, then we HAVE TO make the 4 or 5 seed, otherwise it will be very tough.

Actually, its going to be ionteresting seeing SM go against Kidd next time. As I recall it was Kidd beating us last time. Otherwise matchups might even favor NYK.

Who on the current Knicks roster matches up well with Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin?

You don't get from the outhouse to the penthouse overnight.

If you'll recall-Jefferson couldn't stop KVH and Thomas handled KMart. SM offsets Kidd and Deke can hold his own in the middle. The Knick bench is has the depth and talent edge.

once again dolan has the fans happy with just making the playoffs but the knicks are no nearer to a championship team. that would require too much patience, backbone, and fortitude.

you are right about being happy in the playoffs and not looking at the prize but let's look at the facts. the knicks in the playoffs in the east is very intrigueing since the east is so weak. we could go up to 5th or 4th seed by april and do damage. but this team is'nt the best yet. we still need pieces and it will take time. but we have a centerpiece that gives us hope for the next ten years. i say that in 2005-2006, the knicks, with the ideal moves, will be championship contenders. right now we are a playoff team that can squeek by to the second round. we have to take it in steps. but our eveolution since a month ago is like a one cell organism evolving into man!
