Without Durant, the US would be in trouble. Looked like they had some troubles early on with the zone, but Durant bailed them out a few times in the beginning

I most certainly do care. As for everyone else, football is simply held at a higher standard, even higher than baseball.

curling is surprisingly addictive to watch... I have no idea why, but I get sucked in on the rare times it is on or I'm at a place that televises it. In undergrad my buddies and I went to Montreal for spring break and every morning/afternoon when we shaking off our hangovers we watched curling far longer than anticipated

back here in DK curling is funded by the government, while basketball isn't. And that's only because we did well at the olympics one time in curling. I guess it's easier to succeed in curling than it is in bball. Who would've thought.

Actually, when I have watched it, I find it somewhat relaxing, for some reason. I've never watched it long enough to understand the rules, but I'll usually keep it on for some time and have it playing in the background while I do something else.
