I'd say we should go after

Ime Udoka
Joe Smith

these guys are still available

Ime udoka because he can defend and hit wide open threes,if D' Antoni dosent seem sold with chandler at the 2 he should look at him, he is way better than mason to start at the 2

joe smith can bring veteran toughness to this team plus he has a solid mid range shot and 6 fouls to give

A guy like Smith always has value but I think his place is on a team that is contending for a championship. I don't see Udoka. I think the Knicks are building and my fear is that he is one of those vets that a coach loves and gives minutes to over guys like TD, Fields etc. I really want Ewing jr to make the team. He earned the spot two years ago but the Knicks had already guaranteed Roberson's contract. PEjr just feels right in that spot. He looked great two years ago when Walsh traded for him.

we don't need Ime Udoka, we have plenty enough role playing wing players & SG's on this team.

Joe Smith i wouldn't mind off the bench, but i'd sooner see Mozgov get an opportunity over a grizzled vet that has no future on this team.

the thing with PEJ is that he really has no place in this team HONESTLY he cant play the 2 he natural position is the 3 but he will be the 4th string behind Gallo/Randolph or Chandler/Fields

we are just doing him a favor because his dad is legacy

Joe smith makes so much sense because:
1. he is a vet who can be a good influence to our young guys
2. we are shallow in the frontline
3. has a good mid range shot

we only have Amare,Randolph, turiaf and Mozgov

what do u expect out of a 15th man anyway? mine as well give the fans something to cheer for... much better than watching some useless scrub like Roberson last year add absolutely nothing.

The 15th spot has value in just being there in case we need to take back unequal amounts of players in a trade... I don't see the need for filling this last roster spot until after the trade deadline.
Rose is not the answer.

Patrick Ewing Jr. - not only because he'd be a fan favorite, but because maybe it helps lift the curse just a bit.

And, I really think that sons of former basketball stars just seem to know how to win, and do the little things that help make a winning team. I think PEJ can play a valuable role on our team.

a roster spot is a roster spot.. if we get injuries this year to our frontline, remember our frontline are not exactly healthy people, they are very prone to injury thats when a guy like joe smith becomes valuable

i dont like ewing jr because fields will be in bad side of this, because instead getting minutes(if he gets) he will have to step aside to ewing jr because he is a fan favorite

MDA is gonna play who he trusts more, not who the fans wanna see.
