My shot improved dramatically from age 19 to 25. My percentages probably doubled during that time because I was playing a lot of hoops and usually the 2 or 3, depending on matchups. Rubio has always been mostly a play-maker, but he has never played in the NBA. I am pretty sure he will have a more than adequate ability to score for a play-maker. He might not be a Kidd or a Nash or a Billups in terms of scoring, but on our tam that's not even remotely necessary. He needs to make other guys better, and that he can do amazingly. We have a lot of guys who can score.

I also really like Rubio's defensive effort. He is just going to be getting better, which is scary for any team who has to be his opponent. I would never guarantee Rubio will be a star, but I am definitely willing to take a flier on him because of my gut feeling about him.
