“It’s not a Basketball story, it’s a love story” says bride-to-be Lebron

It was a long wait, but Lebron finally made his “Decision” regarding marrying NBA Champion Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat. Hiring ESPN to cover what was dubbed “The Decision”, Mrs. Lebron Wade created a media firestorm and kept the nation at the edge of their seats in pondering Wade’s marriage proposal.

“I knew all along that the answer was going to be ‘yes’,” Lebron said, still blushing from the passionate tongue kiss that he and Wade shared when he delivered the answer to Wade’s question. “I just wanted it to feel special, and I wanted this marriage to start off right, with the entire country watching.” …

“I knew as well that he would answer yes,” added Wade. “He’ll do whatever I tell him. I’m thinking of making him get implants.”

Early reaction to “the Decision” was at best mixed. Many fans are wondering what has become of the NBA when one of its star players totally dominates a more easily manipulated star and has his way with him, going so far to secure his loyalty with marriage. Others wonder why this event was hosted and paid for by ESPN. Some are completely confused as to why and how the two grown men are going to be married.

“I was struggling down here in Miami,” Wade later tried to explain. “I needed some solid role players, and Lebron has incredible talent. Add to it that I can completely control him, and that he’s a follower by nature, and it was an easy decision.

“This is the best day of my life!” Lebron stated. “The haters can hate, but in the end, I have one of People Magazine’s Most Beautiful People as my Prince Charming. What do the haters have?”

The date of the wedding?

“As soon as possible!” Lebron giggled. “It’s going to be a fairy tale wedding, with chocolate fountains and an open bar, all on South Beach, with all of our friends and everything!”

“Now if you’ll excuse us,” Wade told reporters with a wink, grabbing Lebron around the waste. “Me and my fiance need to go celebrate.”
