He will be good for our mix, and between he and Turiaf we have 12 hard fouls to give by guys we can get by without on offense, for the most part.

Lets hope the coach thinks this way. It makes sense but I think D'Antoni goes with Amare, Turiaf and Randolph getting minutes at the 5. I don't think D'Antoni makes Timofey a rotation player.

I think it depends on what he shows in practice. The kid already sets great picks and rolls like a pro. He seems to fit right into what MDA wants to do. As a real C off the bench I can't see why he wouldn't use him. 10 strong minutes would help a lot against the bigger teams.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Thank you for the link.
He is very good at pick and roll and also does not lower the ball in the paint.
He seems to have very good fundamental skills.

I like that he shot 80% in that game. He should certainly get spot minutes against teams with big BIGS, and if Felton gets him the ball near the hoop, he's probably good for a few buckets.

Seriously folks, how can you get remotely excited about a 7 2" guy who finish with 1 block and 5 rebounds, then talk about his offense out put...That sounds a lot like Eddy curry (and at least he gets to the line) tim took 5 FT's the whole game..

Were not going to need his scoring one bit, it's he's presence on the defense we should be more concerned about, anybody can post big shooting numbers in MDA's system.

He may have redirected a few shots here and there, but when your the biggest guy on the court, your impact should be more on the defensive end, or at the very least a balance

World Basketball is different then NBA BB

Stats don't translate like say a NBA game

First they only play 40 minutes as opposed to 48

Not huge in post game they do more set play ...... Lots of pick and roll

Also players only play 20 minutes or so so much less chances

Chandler led USA with 7 and avg 12 one year in NBA

Love had 6 ....... My point is we go by with what we see

WHich is an active 7'2 agile and active big man who is still ONLY 21 years old

I say if he plays 20 minutes for us and gets 18 and 5 we will ALL love him!!

KNICKS on the way UP!!!
