We dont have any ending max contracts except for eddy. If we use our cap space--we can go into the trade market(if needed) afterward with his contract.

Rather give any other player that deal, cuz Eddy has been straight disgracing our franchise imo

Uhh, to do that means we won't have cap space for Carmelo...

moreover, we'll be under the cap again next year, so we can make trades without an expiring contract. A trade exception for immediate cap relief will ALWAYS be more valuable than an expiring contract, especially when said expiring player is complete garbage.
