![]() Actually it is something that changed as we moved from typewriters (with mono spaced fonts) to computers (with proportional spaced fonts). I learned to type on an electric typewriter, and learned to use two spaces. I also worked as a legal word processor in the late 80's-early 90's, where we also used two spaces - but everything was in courier (mono spaced font).

I argue with my children that you need 2 spaces after every period. My daughter would get on me and say that it is wrong. |

Now I can say I learned something today. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve.
