i gotta say marbury is the best in recent memory--i think he gets up more than spreewell. i can't think of anyone else who had hops for ny since i've been a fan back in the mid 80's. i guess starks had medium hops..but damn good compared to most knicks. and before that, kenny sky walker...who shoul'dve been a high jumper instead of a basketball player. gerald wilkins got up pretty good. i wonder if k. thomas or oakley in his day could jump higher? how about mason?lol ewing?nope.

doug christe had some hops... dont forget allan houston.. he's just too shy to flush it.. he can jump tho... but in terms of sheer hops starbury can get UP cuz he is short and he flys up there... best dunker tho... i'd say camby had the most "OH SH*T" dunks out of any knick

"why don't i remember doug christe being a knick?"

Because he sucked so bad when he was here, and he still sucks.

you really feel that way? I don't catch many Sac games outside of the playoffs, but he seems to fit their lineup very will. He locks down the scoring 2/small 3 to allow Pedja to do his thing.

best Knick dunker is EASILY Kenny Walker...he had dunks that some of todays best dunkers would have trouble doing.

My best in game dunker would have to be either Spree or Camby, but Ill give the nod to Spree (especially his first year here). I'll never forget when he posterized that dude on the Spurs in the '99 finals

Allan had a Sick cram on T-mac's dome a few years back in the playoffs (knicks v. raps). Sequence: Allan's shot was blocked twice in a row by t-mac. Then allan brought the rock to the rack strong, and went up. T-mac tried to time another block and allan switched it on him and dunked on his dome and t-mac fell down... Allan can play with fire, he just doesnt.

And the best dunker on the knicks right now is... Shandon Anderson. Guy has had some sick crams, although very few, but sick nonetheless.

Houston dunked over Mourning too, one time.

Houston can be vicious, but only when he wants to. and i think his knee is busted now.

Bernard King was before my time. Could he dunk?

XMan had no ups when on the Knicks. Knee was shot. Loved him anyway tho. Was tough as nails.
