unlike Amare- mozgovs contract will be insured if injured during the World Championships starting Aug28 till Sep12 - so that should be a relief

Hmm...runs well ..goes to the hoop....7'1 NBA body...what's not to like.
An open floor makes it easier for a guy like this to find his stride too. Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans
"The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

dude... this guy looks sick. If he can stay out of foul trouble how can he NOT be our starting center? He's clearly got an NBA skill set and you gotta love the name "the monster"

He's surely better than Slavko Vranes, but I think we'll have to wait and see what he can do against real NBA competition before we jump to this. If he's playing well and not starting by mid season, I would be disappointed, however. ...

It would be an interesting experiment to see Randolph and Mozgov on the floor at the same time. Could be a tough matchup for smaller squads on both ends of the floor. |

I will reserve judgement until D'Antoni actually plays him.
