They're ditching the LeBron-era jerseys for these generic, D-I college looking ones.

CLEVELAND, OH - August 17, 2010 - The Cleveland Cavaliers unveiled the team’s new authentic uniforms for the 2010-11 season in front of an enthusiastic crowd of Twitter followers and others who attended the “Tweetup” event on Tuesday evening, hosted by the team. They were the first to see the “new expression of wine and gold” home and road authentic uniforms that reflect the colors and style elements from the earliest years of the Cavs.

The authentic adidas® uniforms feature a deep wine and bright gold that echo the hues from the early 1970s, with a simplistic, yet bold, design and introduce several new and unique design elements. The front of the home white jersey displays a new official team wordmark “CAVALIERS” in wine across the chest, and the front of the road wine jersey the new wordmark reads “CLEVELAND” in white.

On both uniforms, special details make them distinctive. The Cavaliers DNA statement: “All for One. One for All.” is printed along the back of the inner-collar of the crew neck jersey, and the Cavaliers secondary logo “C-sword” appears on both sides of the shorts. The team will debut the uniforms when they take the court for the first 2010-11 preseason game on Tuesday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. vs. the Charlotte Bobcats at Quicken Loans Arena.

Just rename "Cleveland NoBrons" and get on with it.

They need to stop with all the Cav's Alternative Jerseys. Is it true Lebron used to pick what they wore?

This is a good throw back look which says "stable" and "basketball" that the chaulk throwing circus dance that was Lebrons Cavs.

The looks are changing. The Jazz are going retro also.

reminds me of Syracuse changing their stylized logos to standard college block font
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The logo thing went to far the last few years.

Personally I don't even like the most recent Knick Logo. Triangle is lame.

Better, but not marketable:

Old style with no triangle:

Clean retro look!:

I'm surprised they didn't add a "F Lebron" memorial patch on it. I don't like the latest Knicks logo either. Looks like
it came out of a transformers cartoon. Always liked the 3rd logo (that Nalod posted)

Can we keep the subway token logo? That's the best of the new-age bunch.
