Yea that is what Im worried about. Melo was born in Redhook Brooklyn.

Lopez
Favors
Carmelo
???
Harris

VERSUS

????
Randolph
Gallo
Carmelo
Felton

Ideally you'd want to try to play Melo at SG but I dont know how feasible that would be.

I'd love to have Melo and Lala's breast here.

i can personally tell you i don’t intend to sweat melo at all. he's a very good volume scorer but not anywhere near a great player imo.

What Brooklynite grows up dreaming to one day play for the Nets?

Playing in Brooklyn on that first Brooklyn Nyets team might be something that appeals to him...who knows. Being a "pioneer" on a new team might be something he wants to do, especially if they have a competitive team and he can play at SF.

You are right. I did.

Randolph
Amare
Gallo
Carmelo
Felton

Im concerned about the number of shots available in the that lineup. I suppose we coudl send Gallo or Randolph to the bench.

and he'll be willing to wait 4years for the relocation knowing anything could happen to him or the franchise in the interim. Guys will not sign to play for the Brooklyn Nets UNTIL it is actually built and even then only if they have a viable product.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

The Brooklyn thing is going to be big.

IM telling you guys, the Russian will have a good team and a marketing blitz.

There are so many people around the country tht have some roots in Brooklyn.

It won't be the nets but a fashion statement.

I know "Real knick fans" will find that kind of empty but:

Knicks have not won bubkus in 37 years.

Not made a playoff run 12 years.

Nets are history, over. Its a new team and its history is rebooted. New owner, new arena, new name! Be like an expansion buzz but far more competitive team.

If They bring Isiah back it will further taint the teams rep. Human resource directors will adivise sponsers to stay away from teams that rehire men found guilty of sexual harrassment.

Marbury will be in China.

Brooklyn is blue collar, Knicks are mid town. Brooklyn appeals to everyone except dudes from the bronx. Queens is not cool, Staten Isiand is really New Jersey. Brooklyn got a history.

"Welcome back mr. Cotter!"

Nalod wants to keep loving his knicks. But Dolan is not making it easy.

In the long run its good for NY basketball! Knicks prosper with strong Brooklyn team as long as they don't screw up.

I don't understand how Melo at SG is ideal.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Ok, Queens is cool.

Just not as cool as Brooklyn.

I wonder how well that ridiculous billboard worked for them?

Nalod wants to keep loving his knicks. But Dolan is not making it easy.

I feel you on that.... it just shows how much the fans love the knicks, if not for that love, I would personaly tell dolan to take this team and shove it up his colon and root for another franchise...

I'm not concerned about other teams, only making ours better. We have a young core... time to let it develop. AR/Gallo/Amare could be the best frontcourt in the NBA, but if that ever happens its going to take a couple years as 2/3 of that group are barely drinking age.

My only point is the pieces are in place. For the guys crying about rebuilding you got two big athletic and highly skilled guys who are 21 in the frontcourt. You going to let them develop into bigtime players or trade them for mox guys?
