Short read but a fun one. I got a lot more love for Pippen and Payton then WARP does but I love me players that dominate on BOTH ends of the floor.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Id swap Stockton with Hakeem but WARP numbers are what they are.

Lists can be arbitrary.

Be interested to see the next 10.

if it were 85-95 Ewing would have been higher.

I don't think John Stockton wouldve had those numbers or was as talented as some other guys(I mean great great player) if he didn't have Karl Malone on the team. You give him tremendous credit--but I think in this case the numbers dont tell the true story--John Stockton was no the 2nd best player in the 90's

Fun question..if it wasn't Stockton..who was the 2nd best player in the 90s? I'd go with Hakeem.

Yeah, I agree to some extent but you also wonder how great Stocton also made Karl?

Most Great points had some pretty good players around them. Nash is not Two time MVP without Amare.

I think you have the lack of overlap so its that 10 year period and that 10 year period only.

Im Sure Nick Van Exel is up there with his gaudy stats! Mully also.

Interesting, no Shaq?

Would anyone in his right mind rather have Gary Payton than Patrick Ewing? That's one of the many things wrong with that list.

Again, its the decade. You want in Prime Ewing, not 1998-1999 Ewing.
