Philadelphia has hired Rod Thorn to take over as team president, league sources tell Y! Ed Stefanski will stay on as GM.

This isn't good news for Stefanski who should have already been fired. I don't know how long Thorn sticks with Doug Collins either. I think the Sixers immediately get a whole lot better with Thorn running things.

Stefanski worked under Thorn with nets.

Thorn Hired Collins in Chicago.

I would imagine Thorn had some input on Collins hiring.

This is now a franchise in total Synch with itself.

Philly has a bad Elton Brand contract but if Elton can return to form with the right system and players around him they are a good (not great) team again and will give us trouble no doubt.
