Just wondering, if Melo resigns in Denver, how would people feel about trading Curry and Chandler to Phila for Igoudala?

He's a SG/SF combo who's a freak athlete and elite defender who would fit nicely on this team. A lot of people might think Chandler is almost as good, but he's not. If the knicks make this trade at the deadline, they can still create enough cap space for the following summer when Paul and D. Williams become available.

Having Felton, Iggy, Gallo, Stoudemire, and Randolph with a strong bench is a nice team fit for the playoffs and upgrade to Paul or Williams the following summer makes this a contender as Gallo and Randolph continue to develop.

Obviously i hope we can get Melo but this is a solid backup option if it doesn't happy. I'm pretty sure Philly will want to rebuild with their young combo of Evans and Young at the SG and SF spots. Iggy is a gamble but a young player on a somewhat reasonable contract for his abilities. He's an all-star ready to break out if in this offense. Thoughts?

Absolutely not. Igoudala isn't the shooter that people think he is. Chandler is the better shooter and just going to be a better player than Igoudala.

LOVE iggy..only problem is a starting lineup of

Felton
Iggy
Gallo
Amare
Randolph

leaves MDA coaching a team with ONE guy who can shoot it from outside...

Ideally we replace Felton with someone who has a 3 pt shot unless he can sustain his good outside shooting from last season.

And we get a shooting guard who can shoot.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
