We could either do

(Kurt Thomas for Juwann Howard) straight up or:

and a pick.


I think Orlando would do the second trade definitely, but I know a lot of knick fans woudl be unhappy with this. We could really use JH though. He is really good in the post and to have him be able to draw double teams and leave Stpeh, H20, or KVH open for 3's, would be crzy.

Don't you also see how JH abused KT when we played orlando. We could really use this guy. But I know everyone hates him. I wanted him when he played for dallas. I don't know why I am the only one that sees this. With this we still keep our core three, although giving up Fwill is kinda rough.

what do you think about this and why or why not?

Thomas is averaging more rebounds and blocked shots. Howard has talent, but is so inconsistent. If the Knicks move Thomas it should be for someone younger and more athletic.

Juwan Howard is not tough and very inconsistent. He's pretty much done. HE needs to play for a team where he'll become the #3 guy on offense...

Howard stats will fool you, the guy does show up and play, and has a good guy image that may appeal to Zeke/Lenny. He gets more heat for his salary than anyone else at that tier If we need a player to create a traffic jam in the middle Howard is not my replacement for Thomas.

But if Howard could return to form like those 2 techs he recieved down in Dallas during that time period, he may be some other player's replacement....

All other things considered, juwanna make another trade

you guys are kidding right. the guy has lost every where he has gone! same goes for mr. mcdyess. he made a promissing young team like the magic a total failure. do you really want that? we are improving, let's not even think about trades or speculate about stuff that might lead us to take a step back-wards

I can't believe people in this website think Howard will make an impact on the Knicks. Juwan is washed up!! He will never be the player he was 5 yrs ago so why should we even attmept to get him????

We need someone younger, stronger and quicker with passion. Juwan lost all those few yrs back.. Kurt Thomas is better than him cause of his toughness and play on defense..

Howard's a low post player who's freely available...that's why his name comes up. But no, he's not gonna help this team unless we can acquire him for Shandon.
