Greatest day in my Knicks life. I was 12 years old and cried. LOL I remember going crazy with my pops after Patrick Ewing tipped in the dunk and Reggie Miller shot the airball. "And that will do it! The New York Knicks are headed to the NBA Finals!" Good times!

I remember that game well.. a couple of things stood out.. Oakley showing on miller and forcing him to shoot that airball, that was a huge defensive play by oakley.. and that flagrant on miller was BS, but I will take that since the pacers got a 3 point shot they didn't deserve..

Ewing with the huge putback, but what kind of layup attempt was that by starks? just stupid, turning his back and throwing up that junk.

Reggie miller was a real star player.. ton of heart...

The intensity of those games then were amazing..

Looking back now with the benefit of being able to watch the video over it may have been pay back for Derrick Mckey's 3 pt shot. I am sure that shot would have haunted me for years but the win wiped it away from my memory.
