For the second time in little more than a month, a Cook County judge has issued an arrest warrant for former Chicago Bull Eddy Curry in a legal case that raises new questions about the NBA player’s financial woes.

Cook County Circuit Judge Alexander White ordered Curry’s arrest on Monday, after learning Curry failed to sign an agreement to pay the balance of a $660,000 legal settlement reached after he was sued for allegedly having sex with an underage girl.

The case stems from a 2001 relationship the two had when she was 14 and Curry was 18.

He needs a financial manager to administer his debts and make sure he doesn't blow all his money. This guy is a mess. A 14 yr old? Even when you're young you know there are do's and don'ts. He just doesn't care what he does. You can't live merely on impulse without regard for ramifications. Buying things without concern for cost. Eating extravagant meals when u know you need to be fit for your profession. The guy's a giant 2 yr old.

HE really needs to get in the gym and earn his next contract or else he will be ruined after this year. Nobody is going to sign him with all this crap going on. He hasn't played in a loooooong time. He really needs to get his act together. Stop hanging around with his "boys" and family that are leading him down the path to ruin and start getting with mature financail people that can help get him out of this mess
I just hope that people will like me

You have to be beyond EXTREMELY incompetent to mismanage millions of dollars earned through a period of several years.

I read somewhere that 4 out of 5 NBA ballers are
broke within 5 years after leaving the league. Some
didn't make that much to begin with but others could
have been set for life. The NBA tries to warn them
about blowing their earnings when they are rooks
but they don't listen.

I lost any sympathy for Curry a long time ago. He
deserves whatever he has coming to him.

a major problem with the collective bargaining agreement is that the knicks aren't allowed to just waive this dude and void his contract. he's been unable to play basketball for over two years and has two warrants out for his arrest. any other job in the world and he'd be fired.

Curry owes $100K to this woman. For perspective, if you make $50K a year, it's about the same as owing $500.

Darko didn't play all year and he was healthy. I wouldn't put it past the Knicks to ask Eddie to stay "injured" so insurance pays his salary. They did give him a advance on his salary I believe.

Meaning he blew just about everything he has.

For Curry, that is 100,000 items from the Dollar Menu, which I'm told is how he assesses value to things.
