I was arguing with a Die Hard Nets fan about AR vs Favors. He laughed at me when i said i like AR more and would not swap AR straight up for Favors.

Am i crazy for thinking a 21 year old who could really fill out a stat sheet is better then a #3 pick in the draft?

Both are just too young to alanyze at the NBA level right now. Favors has yet to play a game, and AR could've easily been in this year's draft.

Too early to tell with Favors, and for that matter, AR, although Randolph has shown ability against NBA competition.

Favors showed some glimpses of being a player in the SL, but seemed pretty raw at this point.

Favors is ALREADY 246 pounds. If I could get Favors I would send Randolph packing.

They are Net fans of course they are going to say Favors. You're a Knick fan of course you are going to pick Randolph. Your life will be easier if you just stop having these types of arguments and go out and get a job.
I just hope that people will like me

since we already have Amare i think i'd rather keep AR & see what he can develop into than trading him for Favors... i think Favors will be a stud if given the opportunity to play the 4, but he won't get that here.

I understand. We arent getting Favors anyway so I'm fine with Anthony Randolph.

i got to watch favors here in atlanta a big.. I like his game, but it is so much different than AR.. I think AR has a wider variety of skills... but favors has the NBA frame already.. too early to tell..

The Nets seem to have constructed a nice young team with Lopez, Favors, Outlaw, Morrow and Harris. Not so sure as to why they gave the deals they gave to Petro and Kleinza, but I suppose they are good bench players.

If they have the right coach who will teach the young guys and have them competing hard every day, they should be a bubble team.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
