I know these guys make low salaries now. When do their rookie deals expire? I know we're hopeful that they both hit their "NBA star" stride this year. Just wondering when we'll have to pay them and if that will get in the way of any CP3/Melo type dreams.

For Melo, no they wont get in the way, Wilson Chandler has a qualifying offer at the end of this season so he will get in the way. I believe Gallo and Randolph are both on 4 year deals so they would get in the way in 2012(CP3 if he's still in NO) when the Knicks have to re-up them.

Hoopshype is slacking off. They are not updating those salaries long term.

the knicks can extend them after the 2011-2 season, which makes perfect sense with our cap situation. it allows us to maintain flexibility heading into next off-season and extend them after that.

I believe hoopshype gets their data from shamsports. But shamsports needs some updating too.

Rose is not the answer.

they will both have to be traded or let go if we sign Melo this summer in order to sign CP3 in '12
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
