it's more of a collection of players who are rumored to be move, no article really.

KVH for either Sheed or Ilgauskas.

Chad has been smoking some of Sheed's stuff if he/Insider thinks Isiah will move KVH just because of a past history with Marb, as the snippet hints at.

Insider Special: Rumours...

Is Tracy McGrady on the block?

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Tracy McGrady
Magic
Blazers Jan. 15 - The Orlando Sentinel reports the Blazers called the Magic about a McGrady-for-Rasheed Wallace swap. GM John Gabriel denied McGrady was on the block. McGrady's response to the rumor? "I don't believe any of that, but I did hear the Rasheed rumor," McGrady said. "I think there would be a lot of disappointed Orlando fans if that happened." No kidding.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Rasheed Wallace
Blazers
Mavericks
Knicks Jan. 15 - Blazers GM John Nash thinks it's likely the Blazers will make a trade before the Feb. 19 deadline, and most of the buzz centers on Wallace. The Oregonian reported Jan. 15 that the Mavs and Blazers are talking about a Wallace-for-Antawn Jamison, Tony Delk and Eduardo Najera swap. Mavs owner Mark Cuban claims the Mavs aren't inclined to make a trade, but he wouldn't rule out trading for Wallace if the Blazers offered him a "sweetheart" deal.
Knicks president Isiah Thomas has also been in the hunt for Wallace, but his offer of Keith Van Horn, Michael Sweetney and Frank Williams doesn't look like enough to get it done in Portland.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Antawn Jamison
Mavericks
Blazers
Cavaliers Jan. 15 - Mavs head coach Don Nelson claims the team has no intention of trading Jamison, but Jamison's name has appeared prominently in two recent rumors. One has him going to the Blazers for Rasheed Wallace. The other has him heading to Cleveland in return for Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Marcus Camby
Nuggets
Knicks Jan. 15 - Isiah Thomas called Nuggets GM Kiki Vandeweghe over the weekend about Camby's availability but reportedly was shut down. The Nuggets are leaning toward keeping Camby around, given their success in the West this year. That doesn't mean Camby isn't available at the right price, but the Knicks have nothing the Nuggets really want.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Keith Van Horn
Knicks
Blazers?
Cavs? Jan. 15 - With former enemy Stephon Marbury now in New York, how long can Van Horn last? If Isiah Thomas is going to make another big move, it will have to include Van Horn. Several GMs were convinced last week that Van Horn was on his way to Cleveland (for Zydrunas Ilgauskas) or to Portland (for Rasheed Wallace), but nothing ever materialized. However, Van Horn won't have a good night's sleep until the trade deadline passes next month.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Darius Miles
Cavs
Knicks
Heat Jan. 15 - Miles is having another disappointing season and has fallen out of favor with head coach Paul Silas. The Knicks made a run at Miles last week, offering Moochie Norris in return, but the Cavs understandably balked. The Cavs countered with Miles for Frank Williams and Othella Harrington, but sources say Isiah Thomas balked. The Heat also have shown limited interest in Miles, but they probably don't have enough ammo to make a deal.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Jason Terry
Hawks
Blazers?
Pacers? Jan. 15 - Terry has been pushing Hawks management to make a trade, even if he has to be included in it. Plenty of teams are interested, but Terry is a base-year compensation player, making a one-for-one swap virtually impossible. Unless he's paired up with someone like Theo Ratliff or Shareef Abdur-Rahim in a blockbuster-type trade, Terry's going to have to ride out the storm in Atlanta.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Hawks
Sonics
Jazz
Warriors? Jan. 15 - The interest in Abdur-Rahim around the league is enormous. The question is whether the Hawks actually will trade him. Don't count on it unless two things happen. One, the sale of the team finally is approved by the league sometime in January. And two, the Hawks find takers for Theo Ratliff and Jason Terry. If they can get those guys off the books, trading Rahim gives them lots of cap flexibility. The Sonics have shown the most interest, and Brent Barry, Jerome James and Vladimir Radmanovic for Abdur-Rahim works under the cap.

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Theo Ratliff
Hawks
Blazers
Grizzlies
Bucks?
Celtics? Jan. 15 - Ratliff's ongoing feud with coach Terry Stotts has put him in the crosshairs. There's talk the Blazers want Ratliff and would be willing to swap Rasheed Wallace for him if the Hawks also included Terry. Terry is a base-year player, which makes that trade more difficult, but it is doable with the right add-ons.
The Grizzlies also have interest in Ratliff, but they're running out of ammo to get him. A combo of Stromile Swift, Jake Tsakalidis and Shane Battier might be enough, but is the injury-prone Ratliff really worth that price?

WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Cavs
Knicks
Mavericks
Blazers Jan. 15 - Ilgauskas is another guy who really hasn't seemed to fit in since LeBron James and Paul Silas arrived. With so many teams in need of a big man, he's a pretty hot commodity. There's talk the Mavs (for Antawn Jamison), Knicks (for Keith Van Horn and Frank Williams) and Blazers (for Rasheed Wallace) have all tried to pry Ilgauskas away, but so far GM Jim Paxson isn't biting.

please none of those guys will improve our team. Who cares about Keith's contract. Zydrunas is way too inconsistent and injury prone. KVH is miles better.

KVH has been great this season. He needed some time to feel good in a new system, but he's great now. It's amazing to see such a talented guy in a Knick uniform these days... a 6-10 SF who's averaging 17-7 for us... WHY WOULD THOMAS TRADE HIM?

If he does, I'll be sick.

Shocked??? Oh no, I had it pegged from the jump.

I have been predicting the trade of KVH for quite some time now (actually, since he GOT here!). I say that without acknowledging Chad Ford's article at all. After the last crap he wrote hating on Lenny, it's obvious he has issues.

KVH is playing well, so it's only right that we trade him if the right deal comes along.

Messiah Thomas has been busy fishing for that deal that can help us become more of a contender. The second he finds it, you KNOW who will get shipped out- Your boy, Keith Van Horn.

I'd be curious to see what would be better than KVH???

A low post scoring machine??? and then what would we do with Thomas? What do you want to improve????

Keon Clark, similar type Camby player can be had this off-season. We should grab him then... for part of the MLE.

The player I want that has been talked about is Miles. He is young and has a ton of upside. Hes athletic and can finish in the lane. It is gonna cost us Frank Will, which will be tough cause I think Frank is a better player right now and with minutes will play very well for the Cavs. But I dont think it is fair to Frank to sit this young developing player on the bench with no chance to play real minutes. With that said, I think it is too much to give Frank and Othella's "good contract" I would make them take a bad contract like Shandon's to get the good young PG. Cavs would have to throw in a contract to make it work.

I only trade KVH for Wallace or Brand at PF or nothing, then trade Harrington n Williams for Miles, having Ilgauskas in the mix would be sweeter.probably throwin Sweetney n Penny and a pick.

I like your plan except the Ilgouskas part. He's too brittle. If we are gonna do that, we might as well got to Denver and get Camby back.

i would not trade f-will for miles. and if you trade harrington & f-will/sweetney & penny for two guys you got yourself a 11 player roster. plus ilgauskas won't fit the runing type of team were trying to create.

As I've posted many times before, I'm not interested in trading KVH for Wallace at this point.

IF Shareef Abdur Rahim becomes available I might take a look at him because he's a better post guy than Van Horn, but obviously he can't shoot outside like Van Horn, and I think this team is really predicated on shooting and fast break stuff now, so Van Horn might be a better fit. But no one available is really getting me that excited right now.

As I've also said before, I'd explore a minor deal where would deal for a young PF like Wilcox, Swift or Al Harrington. I'd move Frank for the right guy, especially if Moochie's gonna take his spot in the rotation at this point (though I don't understand why that is).

I like the talent on this roster right now, and while its not perfect, I think its time we let things mesh and stop tinkering. The team is really coming together and is making a nice little run. We can make major moves when more players become available this offseason.

A little tidbit of news...

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/story/155964p-137056c.html

Wallace loves New York, sez former Knick

By FRANK ISOLA
DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

CHICAGO - A former teammate of Rasheed Wallace says that the Portland power forward is intrigued by the possibility of joining the Knicks.
"Who wouldn't love it?" said Bulls guard Rick Brunson, a former Knick. "The more he keeps hearing about the Knicks the more he wants it to happen. But nobody knows what Portland is going to do."Brunson and Wallace are longtime friends who were teammates in Portland, most recently two years ago. The Blazers are entertaining offers for Wallace, who becomes a free agent this summer.

The Knicks likely would have to trade Keith Van Horn to make a deal work for Wallace, although the Blazers would prefer to have Kurt Thomas included in a potential swap. Portland has had ongoing discussions with Dallas about a possible Wallace-for-Antawn Jamison swap.

The trading deadline is Feb. 19. If Wallace isn't moved within the next month, Portland can either sign him this summer or use him in a sign-and-trade.

"I think a trade would do a lot for his career," said Brunson, who speaks regularly to Wallace. "A lot of people thought Latrell (Sprewell) was finished but look at what has happened to his career since the Knicks traded him to Minnesota."

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Keith's reputation for softness and history of disappearing at critical moments is coming back to haunt him. IMHO he's playing great right now and the Knicks should keep him.
