Darnell Mayberry of the Oklahoman writes that Byron Mullens, D.J. White and Kyle Weaver are the most likely players to be dealt.

Oklahoma City could simply waive a player to get to the limit of 15, but Mayberry points out that Thunder general manager Sam Presti prefers the trade route.

I would take Mullens off their hand for a second round pick. He looked improved from last year in this years sL and is still just 21. He would give us a 7 footer who can hit the mid range jump shot and get up and down. I think he is developed to where he can play off of the nBA bench right now and gives us three 7 footers(very similar to the 80's Bulls) that can each fit a role as the team develops. I think he would ultimately be the best player of the 7 footers we have in terms of long range talent.

The reporter, Darnell Mayberry, seems to think that Mullens might be a guy they want to keep- points out his improvement over the summer,
and when he says that Presti can simply waive someone- Weaver's name is mentioned.

Mullens has shown the most development of the trio and, as an athletic 7-foot center, is a rare commodity that the Thunder isn't likely to throw away after only one season. White is another big man who can provide rebounding and court spacing with his mid-range shooting ability. And so it appears Weaver could be the last man standing, possibly squeezed out of a fast-developing roster.

Wonder what Presti would want for Mullens. If the rumors about us being interested in Tolliver and Caracter are legit, you would think that we might be interested in White, if Mullens is too costly.

I would love to have Mullens on the roster- don't know much about White and Weaver.

There is no way they deal a 7' center who has shown improvement. They know the reason they lost to the Lakers it was due to height.

The article is the reporter's thoughts on the issue- the truncated Wiretap version does not do justice to the original, in which the writer looked at all the possibilities and angles Presti might consider.

I was joking- but you know what- you would only be trading the "rights" to Rautins and Jordan, 2 guys with non-guaranteed contracts. OKC could waive them immediately, so in essence my nonsensical trade was Curry for Durant or Westbrook.

I'd trade two future 2nd rounders, Jerome Jordan, AND take Peterson(SG).

Picks, Jerome Jordan, and Azuibuke for Mullens and Peterson

They save some cash and we get a C and SG. Having Aldrich AND BJ Mullens is overkill.
