I know it is Berman, and was twittered on the 23rd, but all dogs get a bone thrown to them now and then, so maybe this is legit.

I don't even know if we had Caracter in for a look- would Walsh even be interested for some reason? Does he fit in at all with the present team we have assembled? Weren't we supposedly looking at Anthony Tolliver a short time ago too?

Figured it was worth a thread, although he would hardly be a game changer on this team. Might be another trade chip, though. Don't understand how Denver gets him with their cap situation, and if you believe Berman that we are in contention with LA, maybe Caracter is holding out for a bit more $, or something guaranteed like Lin was looking for from the Lakers, who have $92.5 M payroll and also have Ebanks and Brown to deal with.

I thought he was super-impressive in SL--I can't see how the Lakers won't sign him for so cheap--I know they will. Caracter doesn't dictate terms and the Knicks have no say unless he is released--thats was stinks about being picked 58.
