good shooter

probably below avg athletically, but a high effort, high bball IQ player who is an adequate bench player

avg'd 12/7 last year for a decimated Warrior team

I doubt he has much bargaining leverage in negotiations. Has been a D-Leaguer, until injuries forced the Ws to dip into that league for reinforcements. But, to his credit, he performed very well.

haha, wasn't this the guy who was posterized by Amare?

I think the phrase was "Amare Tollivered him"

So Tolliver's going to be flinching anytime Amare goes to shake his hand after a foul shot or Amare tries to set a pick for him? Could be humiliating for the young man.

This should let you know GS are letting good players go azubuike, randolph, Turiaf morrow etc...

Making deals with them didn't take a genius to pull off, new ownership always gets rid of good players.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

probably Sprewell was the last to show that kinda nastiness on the floor, but even then it was only on breakaway dunks... Amare dunks ON people with regularity... haven't seen that on a regular basis from 1 guy in NY since Ewing in his heyday.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Wow, I don't really go crazy about big guys dunking.... but that was pretty sick.

Gotta give it to Tolliver also for even attempting to block a sure highlight play.

MDA will be just fine. Even when we had the roster with Zach and Jamal on it the team was playing pretty good for what we had. Rosters make coaches and not the other way around. You give just about any coach great players and he's gonna look pretty good.

What excites me about this roster is that we have added 4 guys who play with energy all the time. Amar'e, Felton, AR and Turiaf are gonna help to raise the effort level on this team. To go along with TD, Chan, Gallo and Walker who also have good motors. You really don't have to tell these guys to go hard. Many of the new additions are high energy DEFENDERS too. Now Amar'e has been up and down on the defensive end but I think he'll be hyped up in the beginning and that should set a great tone that could propel us from here on out. Tell me which of these new players won't be stocked to play at the Garden with a PACKED HOUSE and stars all over the place too?

Tolliver coming is the least of my concerns. If he does welcome aboard and have a nice seat on the bench until we call you.

Oh for f***s sake! Kahn strikes again:

Free-agent forward Anthony Tolliver has reached an agreement to sign with the Timberwolves.

Tolliver's agent, Larry Fox, told FanHouse on Friday his client will join Minnesota.

Sources have indicated that Tolliver's deal is expected to be worth $4.8 million over two years.

What is his problem?! He literally just surfs the net, sees who Donnie is after and then tries to swoop in and sign them himself, regardless of whether they fit or not! It's so annoying- he's such an idiot! Everything about him annoys me!

I'm not that bothered about missing out on Tolliver, (though we could have used him as injury insurance- we need another front court player) it's just the principle of the thing that irks me so!
