Playa you keep hyping the Knicks four game win streak against teams that were not only weak - but also injured.

Yet discount wins against seattle - a pretty good team and Orlando one of the teams in the hyped 4 game streak.

In my opinion non of these wins mean that much. A team needs to be judged over a long period. Perhaps FW would have made the Knicks a good team and the trade was not needed - I doubt it - but we'll never know.

My personal opinion is Marbury will make the team MUCH better. But nothing has been proven yet.

I just hear in thread after thread about that four game winning streak - well almost every team in the league will have a four game streak by the end of the year and that includes some very bad teams. Four games against weak teams - even four blowouts - don't proof much.

I haven't seen you(oldfan) talk about these postas who think we already won the eastern conf . They are repeadetly yapping about two games . Seattle haven't won in the garden since 1996 and we know all about the orlando magic.

Playa - I usually just try to state my opinion. THere are a few topics that I've responded to because I disagree strongly if you look at my post you'll see I respond to:

1) Posts about Houston not being able to get his own shot off. I think that's just not true. Alan ain't that creative but he has managed to score 19 or 20 pts a game even when the knicks had no good play makers and no post passers and other teams were concentrating solely on him and Spree.

2) KVH isn't great and has played bad in the playoffs so he sucks. Again I disagree strongly. KVH has choked in the playoffs - but he's a very solid player with the potential to be even better.

3) That because the knicks played four good games with FW starting that FW has proven himself and the therefore the Knicks did not need to upgrade the point guard position. Again - I just strongly disagree four games is four games. As bad as Chaney was and as bad as you think Thomas is - I think if FW was the second coming of Clyde they would have recognized it.

Earlier i posted i thought we could go 5-0, i still think that, if not i'd say 4-1, but either way i was just lookin at the standings. We're 2 games behind boston, 1 behind philly....anyone think during the remainding 4 games of this stretch, we might be able to pass boston...they've lost 3 in a row as of this mornin

4-1, as much as I want to see the Houston loss avenged - I think they are going to be the loss. The Knicks will show up for that game though, unlike last time.

Hate is a strong word, I don't hate Lenny I just don't see him as the "ANSWER" for the knicks woes.
