What AMare did was not a stretch. It was just the right thing.

Its funny, when a kid is ready to go to high school they somtimes act up as a defensive measure. "This school sucks, this school is lame" etc.

When a child is about to go off to college they also think their current situation is "lame" and think the future is going to be just great. Then they learn with increased responsability they have to perform and have little time for the things they used to have.

Lebron seemed to be a bit immature on this process and in a way had to "Cleveland sucks, this place blows, Miami is so cool and we gonna win and be cool" in so much words.

Amare is a man and did the right thing.

Im sure in time Lebron will learn to regreat and make it right.

And when he does will convert half the Cavs fans to Heat fans and be bigger than ever.

Everyone loves a comeback story. Lebron won't take of a hit for this long term.

He is bigger than ever.

Yeah, I was wondering why bron didn't do just that. You guys are right, classy move. The fact that it didn't even enter lebron's mind to do something like that is just another reminder of what he is all about....himself.
