Nate Robinson will re-sign with the Celtics on a two-year, $9 million deal that includes bonuses.

Robinson was acquired by the Celtics at the trade deadline in a trade with the Knicks.

He played sparingly throughout the playoffs until the Eastern Conference Finals.

Good for Nate. I think the Celts overpaid slightly, but a solid deal all around.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Good deal all around includes Nate getting a good deal out of it.

It's fair to overpay for such a short contract. And Nate played very well for them in very meaningful minutes. And when some of their scorers are flat, Nate can do that for them too. I think he's good for them and they're good for him.

thats why celts hired lawrence frank so someone will be smaler than nate and maybe teach him some defense

He is on a good team and should do well.

If nate was 6'9 and was still nate he'd be worth 100's of millions!

But Nate is doing well for his size. Gotta save that money.

Walk away with 10mil saved nate!!!!!! INvested well he can live off 4-5% and live WELL!

That's all he got? A 2 year deal worth a fraction of the MLE? He put up 17/4/4 off the bench 2 years ago. He would have gotten paid much more if he'd been an unrestricted FA 2 summer's ago.

It's because he's undersized. If Nate had similar production and was 6'1", he'd be getting paid double. The problem is, because he's so short, the guy he's defending usually has a good game. It's not really his fault, people just shoot over him, because he's too short. He's a sparkplug.

curry unfortunately has wasted his money on bad advise,investments.legal fees,illegitimate kids..he needs to have a good season to get any sort of contract

Most of Curry's and Jerome James injuries were because they were not in shape and they really didn't want to play anymore. No one is going to take a chance on them two. Maybe a none gaurenteed salary for one year and if they get hurt it's on them.
