they think that blowing out an nba team is easy and gets done often. look at the records guys. the heat is right there with the knicks and they had a better record when they got blown out. to say the knicks were better than them or they were a weak opponent is rediculous. any nba opponent isn't weak compared with the knicks because the knicks themselves were weak, record wise before the blew away the heat and the magic. the heat have young guys that gave the knicks players the heebie jeebies before frank showed them how to play. the heat has a similar team to the warriors, whom the knicks got blowout by twice. the heat is also definately better than the cavs, whom the knicks got blown out by, twice. the heat had also went into tronto and beat them, something the knicks didn't do. you can't say that orlando was weak opponent because they had just come off of a win against indiana in indy. something the knicks couldn't do twice. they had bean 7-4 and emerging out of their shell before they got blown out. to say the knicks could consistently beat, let alone blow out these so called weak teams is hard to say. you have to be really good to blow out teams 3 straight times which the knicks were in that particular juncture. they were hitting on every cylinder till frank missed some games and we started loosing. they lost to the bulls for god sakes and at home, i acknowledge the fact that houston and williams was out but still an inexcusable loss at home. then the knicks themselves got blown-out at home by 32 to houston. houston isn't a team that could over power you by that margin. the whole team played like a weak team like they had in the past before winning four in a row. the knicks themselves are weak, record wise atleast, till they pull themselves out of it. so those wins were very very impresive and showed how this team really could play on a consistent basis. short lived because frank, who i think was the main reason the knicks won 4 in a row, got hurt. that lead to the trade and the trade lead to more loosing till now. if you constitute a bad team with the record it has, think again, like the knicks (weak team)the magic(weak team) heat (weak team)proved.
you just don't blow out teams for 3 straight games in the nba, period. it rarely happens. the knicks hadn't won three games by 20 or more since 1996. like the knicks weren't a good playoff team between that period and they didn't face weak teams for 3 straight games and blow them out by 20 or more.
you need to re-think what teams you call weak because you are very inconsitent. knicks losses: bulls, warriors, cavs, utah(wow, isn't that a weak team?), and so on.
