LMFAO

No we don't.

And he doesn't have interest in us.

That Cavs guy has been a clown through the whole free agent process. Dude needs to just pack it in.

Disagree about your assessment of the Cav's beat writer. What makes you say that about him?

You know I gonna spin wit it

LeBron was never leaving? Yeah, that's why. Dude's a hack.

Constant Knick bashing from him and wojina and brutard? Also all saying LBJ was never leaving Cleveland? While bashing the Knicks chances?

Yeah, that too.

They can all eat it. Glad LBJ left them.

i'd actually welcome him on the cheap... an ironic twist if he ends up here playing in MDA's SSOL system again.

Yeah, cause that worked before, right?

He's also not done or anything. Ever notice how many wide open layups this guy bricked last year? Shaq is pretty much DONE.

No thanks.

Let him be a turd and go back to Miami or something.

Don't want anything to do with that guy.

I was thinking he might be the only current player that might smack some sense into Eddy Curry and at least make him into a tradeable asset rather than a waste on life

Bring Shaq to NY. I have a soft spot for him and it'd be cool to see him in the orange and blue.

Shaq is police volantier so he really can help Chi police to bring Eddy to jail...

if shaq wants to play for cheap, i have no problem having him here. he's still a very useful player - 20mpg, let him do his thing.

i'd like shaq for no other reason than six hard fouls if we meet the heat in round 1 of the playoffs - i really think the key against the heat will be a formidable front line (and lock-down defense, automatic offense, injuries to Lebron and Wade, et al). perhaps he could help develop some of our younger bigs? plus he's tough and he's entertaining. and we need a winner and some veteran leadership.

however he doesn't fit in system (see suns, phoenix), would limit the playing time of some of our bigs, and isn't going to be around for the long haul.

don't think he'd be happy here - why would he want to come? he's not going to win a championship and we can't pay him much...

i'd rather we lock up barron or a 2 with potential

Shaq has always said he wanted to play for the Knicks one day...dude is from Newark. You can see the connection. I think this all has to do with guys throwing out feelers...contacting the Cavs "What's up with Shaq? Resigning him? sign and trade? What would you do?" A "source" got word and a reporter put it out there. Ho hum *yawn*

At the same time....at 20 mins...Shaq is more than servicable. Knicks could bring him in as a mentor...he can help in the locker room and get guys thinking right. He'd also be a lot of fun for us fans. He'd basically be babysitting us all year with his routine. Anyway, 12/6 rebs in 23 minutes last year? Sounds pretty good to me.

It's a good idea and a bad idea. He would help the team for about 20 minutes a game. But if Amare is playing more of his minutes at pf, do those minutes come from AR? AR could be a key piece to the future of this team.

He could play IN Newark!

Walsh is not going to tie up any cap on him so he comes as an honorary thing for leadership, works with our it's and box office draw. Mid year we can trade him to contender if that what he wnts.

Missed layups? The guy shot 57% from the field last season! Everyone misses an occasional layup.

Okay well lets re-open the topic....as a shot blocker, rebounder, and defender inside I'd take him for 20 mins a night. Combine that with Turiaf backing him up with 20 mins of the same and the other teams opposing center will be very worn out.
