![]() Saw him play against John Wall for Summer League just now... held his own, even tied up John Wall on a drive for a jump ball. Nice player. I wonder what the rules are for signing guys on other team's summer leagues?

![]() Saw 90% of that game myself -- Man Lin was impressive wasn't he? He's got some nice size for a point, really played the passing lanes well on defense anticipating for steals, showed a nice offensive game and some ability to push the ball. Very surprised how evenly he played Wall out there for a sustained stretch. This kid Lin's got some ability..

![]() To answer my own question:
http://www.insidehoops.com/nba-summer-leagues.shtml If you are a member of the Boston Celtics, and you play summer league, you'll be on Boston's team. If you are not currently signed to any NBA team, a team might just sign you for their summer league team, and you're trying to get signed to a real, regular season NBA contract from any team in the league, including the team that you're playing summer league for. He's up for grabs... we should sign this guy. Rose is not the answer.

![]() This may be heresey around here but this guy reminds me of John Starks. Not quite a 2 but fearless going to the rim and a natural scorer. Knicks want Rautins for his skill (shooting) but I think Lin is an all-around better player.

Got a couple of steals, does not get pressured when bringing up the ball... tries to make the right play. He can seem a little overmatched but it might just be him getting used to the NBA game. McHale was liking the kid too, for what it's worth. Saw parts of last night's game, this kid was doing work! Pretty decent handle, fearless going to the hole. I dare Dallas not to sign him. He'll be gone in a heartbeat! Did I say he came out of Harvard? Grab this guy. "We are playing a game. We are playing at not playing a game..."

![]() Sign this man:
from http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/18205/day-seven-las-vegas-summer-league-roundup Zach Harper of Hardwood Paroxysm on the John Wall-Jeremy Lin fourth quarter battle: "Funny thing happened on the way to the Bellagio … Jeremy Lin and John Wall faced off in the fourth quarter of the Wizards-Mavericks game in Vegas and pretty much played each other to a standstill. That’s right. An undrafted Harvard, SMAHRT kid, point guard went toe-to-toe with the number-one pick in the NBA draft and sort-of held his own. The final box score will show John Wall with an impressive 21 points (let’s just forget about the 4/19 shooting), 10 assists and seven rebounds. But it won’t show that the majority of the Lin’s 11 fourth quarter points were the result of him getting the better of the 'best player in the draft' for times than Wall will care to remember. Lin and Wall played the equivalent of an iso chess match on the hardwood game board. The kid from the Ivy League refused to back down from the YouTube sensation and while Wall walked away with the highlight reel, Lin walked away as the fan favorite." Rose is not the answer.

![]() i am going to be really sad IF another team signs him and he turns out to be a solid cheap player....
this guy can't get a spot on the same team that had room for Jerome James, Curry, Anthony Robeson???!! Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

![]() Not going to lie, I started keeping tabs on this guy when BRIGGS started hyping him awhile back.
Will be very disappointed if another team scoops him up. He would be perfect for this system. "This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

The sleepers that I found--Lin Blakely wouldve been SO much better for the system we run--the Knicks wouldve walked out as stars--especially with Lin. did anyone catch a glimpse of Blakely last night?? These guys are bost super fast and athletic and both bring really nice assets to the court. When I first started looking--I tried to keep my eyes on players who can get up and down--that is what I think the system is for--athletes who are fast athletic and have diverse skills. If we walked out with Blakely Lin Fields(Or Torrance) and Whiteside--the sentiment of our draft would be much higher. We easily could move to a Lin--they have all of the ability in the world to just flip it--but there is no chance NONE even if they KNOW its the right move--they wont do it. RIP Crushalot😞
