i think he'd be a logical fit with the Nets... his hometown & they could use another scorer in their frontcourt til Favors develops.

he at least was willing to throw his body in the lane & draw charges at times, & was 1 of our better low post defenders... also started utilizing that Kurt Thomas/Malik Rose pull the chair out move pretty effectively... there's no doubt he was a knucklehead, but he wasn't as bad a defender as some people wanna make him out to be... we definitely had much worse defenders in our frontcourt over the past few years than Al.

He would be perfect as a 6th or 7th man for a solid team, as long as he stops taking so many bad shots.

I always liked Al. I thought you guys gave him a bad rap. He was a bit of a blackhole with the ball, though I think he had a lot of talent.

Subtle dig at SSOL, but the guy is trying to get a new deal so he answers back to his critics. Don't really bother me. I like Al as a person and hope he gets himself a good deal. I'll clap for the man next time he's on our floor as a visitor, but not sure I'll get out of my seat to do it.
