first of all, the guy is the winningest coach in nba history, this guy has coached and played for nearly 50 years. you don't coach in this league for that long if you are a bad coach.
btw, remember that 13 game winning streak the raptors had without carter a couple of years ago. shouldn't that tell you something about his ability. that proves that he could take this team to the playoffs. this guy knows the game and knows how to get the best out of his players.
and what is this nonesense about light practices? the players are paid to perform in the game and win the game not practices.
i bet allen iverson (quote: we talkin about practice! )would have loved to have lenny as his coach. they would have one the championshih that year because that's how hard allen would have played for lenny to show his love for the likewise opinion.
lenny has a bunch of veteran players with the knicks, they know they need to perform their best in the game and if lenny does that, why should we question his light practices?

i think saying hes the winningest coach in history means nothing since we all know hes lost the most too. i dont hate him, i just have no idea about his style, i never really payed attention to him in toronto or atlanta. but as long as he has this team playing defense, hes got my vote.
