Don't speak too soon- I doubt D'Antoni plays Mozgov or James Jordan this year, which leaves Amar'e, randolph and Turiaf- any of those gets injured and it'll have to be Curry time.

I really hope Curry is released if we have no interest in trading him.

I have no desire to see him play again in a Knicks uniform and I don't feel like hearing him complain about Mike during the season when he's on the bench.

Would you rather see him on Miami? Don't do them any favors. Curry would destroy with Miami, all the 1 on 1's he'd get. We need to trade him with Chandler. Chandler is redundant now.
edit - I don't want to just trade Chandler to get rid of Curry. We can include more talent to maybe get a max guy. Rather, just let Curry expire and trade talent for Melo.

Curry is not getting released, at least not until after the trade deadline. Up until then he is a trade asset. A big fat one.

Uh....side note. The wizards might make the playoffs. Especially with the players they absorbed, Wall and Arenas coming back. That is all.

Great Pun...

CrushAlot, I don't buy it. We have so many big men now, are we are going to trade Chandler and Curry for a good shooting big man? Makes no sense, we want that cap space for a max player, not a shooting big man.

Why do we need to move Curry? If me move him then we are going to need to give up assets to move him as well as assets to take on Melo. Unless Denver takes Chandler and Gallo and Curry for Melo, but then that thins us and we have to depend on AR and the guy we got from Boston. I'm not sure we are ready for that?

We need Curry to become an asset. We don't want him hurt. It would be nice to see him become productive. Then, ship his sad ass out!

Carmelo is a big guy, and he can hit from the outside...

According to a person familiar with the Knicks' thinking, the club will explore trading Wilson Chandler, possibly packaging him with the expiring contract of Eddy Curry. The Knicks would love to trade for a premier outside-shooting big man.

That doesn't sound set in stone?

If curry is still on the knicks, MDA will play him ahead of all the bigs we have, just cause his contract is so attractive.

He doesn't have to play at all - he's an expiring contract. For the good of the franchise, he sits in street clothes and expires. For the good of Curry he plays and shows his old form. My take: he's been given plenty of oppt's to get healthy, be on the court, and just can't do it. Next.

The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

Stop throwing peices away and always bad mouthing players. That why we are in the situration we are in now. The Ewing Curse. We should get something for Curry even try to build up his value.

I will surely be glad when D'Antoni is gone with that run and gun type of play.

Here we go again. I like Carmelo and his game. I also like Lebron James and for 2 years on this blog we were so sure he was coming here. He didn't. I will never get my hopes up again for any player again. Carmelo will probably use us the same way the rest of them did.
