I dont want to see another major change at this point. I definatly dont want Raweed in here. If Zeke can get a little more athletic in the frontcourt go for it but I think we have a good squad for the remainder of the year.
I think making the playoffs is a good goal, because your looking to build on that and continue to improve, not just be happy you made the playoffs in the conference they call "JV."
I like Frank and Sweetney. I think Sweetney will be a good player. Maybe not as good as Zach but he can be pretty close. His great wingspan makes him taller than the 6'8 he's list at. I just think he needs time to lose a little weight and adjust to the NBA game.
I think Frank can be another Bobby Jackson, but also just needs a little more time.
I love our future right now. I think being built around a 26 year old MArbury gives us a nice future, and Zeke will continue to add good pieces.

Layden's philosphy was to trade a lottery pick for a player coming off a devastating injury, and to overpay horrible players. That philosophy is only acceptable in bizarro world.
If Layden wanted to do nothing and take a patient approach to rebuilding the team, the least he could have done was to order Chaney to give PT to the players he drafted.

I think that one more move is necessary. IMO we don't get enough of an offensive or defensive contribution consitently on the low blocks.
Like that idiot LayDown used to say, "I like our team", but I would like it moreso if we can get that one last piece for now. Zeke can (and will) make further improvements in the offseason, but we need to address that low-post deficiency now if we plan to make a serious run to and through the playoffs.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year.

I think Elton Brand is gettable... in 2 years. When Penny's in his walk year, and if Frank and Sweetney are good NBA players thats the kind of deal we could make to get someone like Brand (or Jermain Oneil).
Package some GOOD young and cheap players with an expiring contract and get a star someother team cant afford to pay. Kind of like Zeke did with Steph :)
