Yeah and same thing with Lebron repeatedly saying last night "It's not about the money."

How much did they sacrifice anyway? Like 1.5M each starting salary? Guess how much tax they'd pay in any other state on their starting year salary? Yeah, you guessed it....

So LOL at sacrificing.

Concur. Yeah, they sacrificed all right.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Say what you want but Miami is the team to watch next year. I got texts from guys who dont even watch basketball last night.

I could see David Stern co-signing this through back channels.

the only reason i'll be watching them is so i can root for the other team... they are public enemy #1 AFAIC.

Cosign. I think they will be the new most hated team in the league. Not because they're good, but because they built a team around divas who were exposed this offseason.

Doesnt matter WHY you watch as long as your are watching. Stern probably sitting in his office the the "Chancellor" from Star Wars.

Its good for the sport. The NBA is most boring regular season sport. All these guys coast for 40 minutes a night until crunch time.

I know every team is going to get up for playing the Heat. Every team is going to want to beat those guys. I know despise the Heat and will watch their games.

every good movie needs a villain i agree... but if these guys think this move is going to help their legacies, i think they're sorely mistaken... Lebron's public image especially took a huge hit w/this stunt of his.

I wrote this yesterday morning.

Im confused why some here believe a joining of the big 3 means the death of the NBA. If anything it will mean more CASUAL fans watching the NBA. This is why Boston and LA have so many fans nationwide is because they win ALOT. They literally run over teams. You have the haters watching to see them lose. You have the band wagoner's watching to see them win.
Those 3 running over teams would probably send NBA TV ratings sky high. We cant think like a diehard fan. We have to think about the casual fan who wont watch their team lose but they will watch to see Lebron and company. Guranteed stars in the Finals every year is probably a wet dream for David Stern.
Their will be parity between the lower level teams to keep the diehards happy anyway.

I suggest all of NY, Chicago, NJ and Cleveland sacrifice our T-Mobile plan.

Yep, the Karma going against them now is insurmountable. I almost felt bad about two max's on one team. Honest truth, 3 just seems selfish. I can't wait to see their supporting cast. I wonder if other players will go there or if many of them feel the same thing, pure selfishness. I really want to see how they play together however.

I hope they never make it to a final. The Greedy Three, down in history.

Yeah. What he just did is a bit like what Carlos Boozer did to Cleveland a few years back. That is what Selfishness will get you.

The Lakers are essentially carrying 3 max salary players in Bryant, Gasol, and Bynum.

Bynum ain't no max player, not even close... Gasol they got in a trade... Bryant & Bynum they drafted... they built that team from the ground up, they didn't buy it like the Heat are doing & we tried to do but failed.
