RealGM says it will be the 2nd rounder...
The Heat and Timberwolves have agreed on a trade that will send Michael Beasley to Minnesota.

Minnesota will absorb Beasley's salary using their cap space and will send a 2011 second round pick to Miami.

if this trade is a basic sal dump -- the nba has to stop allowing this crap. why are teams willing to help make one team a flippin monster team. maybe the details will make it a more "fair" trade... argh

Because it makes their team better too? Considering where the Wolves are, I don't think they're concerned about how good the Heat are for the next 3 years (at which point, one or all of the divas will opt out again).

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Kahn's offseason will be complete after he signs Ridnour to punk Walsh again and add a fourth point guard to his roster.

I think Kahn secretly hates Donnie.

What is wrong with this idiot? First he drafts 5 PGs in one draft, screws us from getting Rubio, now he's decided to do this?

he either (1) hates him or (2) has no diea what he's doing, so he goes after whoever Donnie is going after

either way, it's too ridiculous to be comical

i dont see it helping them. they are kinda where the knicks were: lots of duplicate parts, not really sure how they fit. they gotta unload jefferson or some other front line guy at some point. maybe the gm will come out and say they have no chance to survive, make their time (ZWing ref).

Well, they're just throwing **** at the wall and seeing what sticks. I don't fully blame them for this, because when you're a terrible team, I guess it makes the most sense to see if someone can break out. It's better than doing nothing, I guess.

Beasley + Randolph + Gallo = Orgasm

Guess Eastern teams were cutting their nose off to spite their face.

The Nets should have taken Beasley instead of signing Outlat to that RIDICULOUS deal.

Dec 15th. Hope Amare like the cold weather.

This is out of control! How are people helping them build a damn monopoly. This was obvious collusion and tampering This needs to be addressed it's gonna be a long lockout in the 2011-2012 season if there even is a season.

they seem to have as poor a gm as the knicks did, time for the knicks to fleece someone for a change (rubio? -- 2012).

cant wait for the cba fight and how the owners explain away this type of poop. players arent forcing these types of trades, the owners/FO are.

you know what this means? 1) Beasley is just really bad or 2) Instead of trading Beasley for some additional bodies that are halfway decent, they make more room for signing the big 3.

They wanted room to offer Mike Miller a MLE type deal.

Jeff Goodman of FOX Sports tweeted Thursday that the Miami Heat have offered Mike Miller a five-year deal worth $27 million to $30 million with a Thursday night deadline.

Goodman writes: "Miller has been told by Miami that the team is 'confident' LeBron James is coming. Miller could likely earn more money with [the] New York Knicks."
