I may have been a serious homer for the past 5 years but I will miss the knicks like dlee will also. Everything worked out for both teams david got paid and the knicks got amare. Good luck nyk and will miss arguing with all of you in future

Goodbye. And if you have contact with DLee, tell him that I wish him well in GS. I had my issues with him but he showed his talent with the Knicks. I have a reason to watch GS games now.

I want to mention that while I did rag on David Lee, he played with heart and passion here and that is all I asked for. His defense was awful but he was a hustle player. Good luck on your future endeavors, David.

I was a fan of Lee from day 1. He will be missed. Its a shame how the salary cap works sometimes.

Going to miss Lee. He was one of my favorite players these past several years.

With that said, I'm glad that David was able to get the contract he wanted and very happy that he worked with us to reach a sign-and-trade. Seeing David go to the Nets would have really hurt....glad both parties were able to get something they wanted.

+1, when Martin reminded me about the cap hold situation the other day. I thought oh crap, he may have screwed himself. Dude was patient and didn't complain.

I want to add that he was the classiest player for us through all the mess amd losing, emberrasment and failures.
And he never betraided us, even in his departure.
Look around NBA and how many players like this you can find? Not much.
