David, you fought hard for us every single night. You weren't the best shotblocker, but you played hard and were one of the best rebounders in the game for us.

Good luck in Golden State.

+1

Would have loved to have kept him, even with Amare- but $180MM on two guys with major deficiencies would have been too much.

Yeah, Good luck, Dave.

Work on that Defense, kiddo, and you'll be a monster.

Well, forward we go.........it's still a long summer.

And, forward I go... couple of drinks, some non-nba oriented TV, and sleep on it all.

Good player. Best pick at 30th overall that I've ever seen. A testament to his work ethic.

Amen. Going to hate to see him go, but definitely don't mind welcoming Randolph.
With all the garbage we put up with over the past decade, you were truly a bright spot David. You were underrated by us NYers, but best of luck in Cali!

I'll miss Lee. He worked hard to develop his game and left as a much better player than when he came. He played hard, he played smart and he played team ball.

Loved this guy as a player. I wish we had some good players around him because he filled a lot of gaps in the lineup. We have rarely see players work as hard and improve as much as he did over time. Good character and work ethic.

Thanks for being a good Knick and for playing hard. Never was a fan of your defense, but other than that you were true Knick. GOOD LUCK

Would have loved to have him stay. He was the only one that didn't disappoint us through these messy years! Good Luck, you will be missed!

GREAT idea Crzy...

david lee has always been one of my favorite knicks and the dude gave his all every single night. every year he was here he improved his game in some fashion over the summer and im happy he got paid like he's supposed to. it's too bad he won't still be with the knicks, but i'm just glad he's getting paid and he will flourish out in GS. thank you david lee.

Thank you DLee for not choosing the Nets!

Predictions: Will it be preseason or regular season before a thread is started on how well he's doing and how foolish we were for not resigning him?

Thank you DLee. You were one of my favorites and you gave us everything you had.

Thank you, David Lee. You did a great job here. Best of luck in Golden State.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Big up to D Lee. The best part of the last season was watching this guy take shot after shot from range and it be money. He made it look easy and I know that means he really put in work. If I'm ever in the Garden and he's part of the visiting team I will cheer for the dude. I think Marcus Camby & Kurt Thomas are the only other former Knicks still playing that I'd show love like that to, so that's saying something.

I'll always appreciate that he was the lone Knick that actively tried to get better every year. That's really a testament to his character, as he was surrounded by suspect character.

Good luck David
