Hey have been a long time UK reader but only recently have been trying to post in past couple weeks. But only the other day did I realize that my posts weren't up because I was still locked. Rookie mistake. anyway...

My friend from college works for various reality shows as a production assistant and was at Greenhouse last night for Carmelo and Lala's wedding party since he is currently working on a show documenting their wedding on Saturday in CT. His job last night was to drive Lala and her entourage in the Escalade all night. He heard from Lala herself that Lebron will be at the wedding on Saturday. He'll announce his decision from CT just because he'll be there for Melo's wedding.

Thanks for chiming in. WHile seems like a good source its been put out there. Certainly Lebron could have flown in anytime Friday. IN fact, I'd expect him to be in Miami Friday morning for a quick Hug then fly up to the wedding.

I don't know the signficance in Greenwich. Its a good a reason as any.

If I am not mistaken the main HQ for ESPN is in Bristol,CT

Doubtful there is any Knick correlation there but I guess you never know.

Probably convenience for ESPN.

LMAO @ Cavs and anti-Knicks fans thinking this was going to be held in some dilapidated burnt out Akron, OH boys and girls club.

yea i agree, hes lebron james, he can fly anywhere at anytime so i'm still skeptical.

I thought the deal was ESPN would be broadcasting from CT but Bron would be with Jim Gray via satellite. Do I have that wrong?

I think Gray sits with him and Wilbon interviews after the Starphuch moment from Bristol.

ESPN's Stuart Scott will host the show from the main studio in Bristol, Conn., with ESPN analysts Michael Wilbon and Jon Barry. James will appear via satellite from a location that has been reported to be Greenwich, Conn. Williamson would not confirm the location from where James would appear, but said once the production trucks show up, it will be readily evident.

Actually, the significance is that they're right by WWE headquarters. The announcement is that LeBron will be wrestling John Cena at Summerslam. Wow!
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

lebron is in greenwich for melo's wedding. so are bosh and wade. i thought they were all friends so it makes sense they'd all be there no?

If true, and it sounds very plausible, then there is no reason to think the announcement helps the Knicks in any way.
