Who would you hate more?

LBJ/Wade/Bosh and Miami?

Or...the team who takes Beasley off their hands for the needed cap space to make this happen?

I think you have to go with the team who takes Beez, otherwise its not possible to have the three of them on the same roster.

You really can't blame these guys though - look around the league at who is winning right now:
Lakers: Kobe, Gasol, Odom, Artest, etc.
Celtics: The big 3

If they are really about winning the three of them should team up. If they were coming to the Knicks everyone would be happy. It is just that its not NY and it happens to be Miami that is rubbing people the wrong way.

As far as the hate for Riley goes - why did MSG choose front office guys over a proven winner? Pat left because he wanted power and NY should have given it to him. I don't hate on him at all, I was heartbroken when he left but the dude was great for us and he has been a winner everywhere he has gone. Why wouldn't these guys want to play in his organization?

Nothing is final, but lets not stoop to the Boston fan level and be bitter. It is a tough pill to swallow but NY will be fine - its time to focus on Melo.

You can't fault the Knicks for trying to make the move IMO. By the end of this summer and next summer they will be in a much better position than they have been in several years.

The team that picks up Beasley? I won't kill them depending on what the trade is- that's a free talent. No.2 overall pick from 2 yrs ago? A guy that was on top of D1 in scoring? I don't see him as a bust- I think he still has talent.

The Three Stooges down in Miami and the made for TV special- yeah they will be easy to hate.

the 2010 plan is looking great. We already have Amare and if we miss out on LBJ Walsh supposedly has 3 S&T deals on the table for Lee. Then you still have a bunch of cap space to bring guys in.

I expect us to be a playoff team with a good future this November. That being the downside after missing out on Lebron and we are definatly in the mix (I still think we are getting him).
